The holiday apartments of Mimì sul Mare are located in the Municipality of Massa Lubrense, in the Marina del Cantone bay, known also as Nerano beach. Marina del Cantone is a small fishing town in the south part of the Sorrento Peninsula. The main characteristic is the quietness, ideal for those who want to spend beautiful moment surrounded by nature and away from the hustle and stress of everyday life.
The small village offers a wide selection of cafès and restaurants where you can taste the traditional cuisine and fresh fish. An example? The famous Spaghetti alla Nerano. The main tourist attractions on the Sorrento Coast and Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, same as Capri are easily reached by sea. The location is strategic for those who want to visit the historical and archeological sites; Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum are reachable by bus in about 1 and a half hours, or a lot less if you organize a private transfer. In addition, the area is famous for its numerous trails: among many, the most famous one is the trail to Ieranto, part of the Marine Protected Area “Punta Campanella” and natural reserve of FAI (Italian Environment Fund).
Coming from either north or south, take the A3 "Napoli – Salerno" and exit at Castellamare di Stabia. Take then the SS 145 until you reach Meta di Sorrento. From there follow directions to Sant’Agata, once there follow directions to Nerano – Marina del Cantone.
Train up to Napoli Centrale (Naples Piazza Garibaldi), then in the same station take the local train called Circumvesuviana (timetable) direction Sorrento. Get off at the last stop, Sorrento. In the main square there is the Sorrento station, take the "SITA" bus (timetable) direction Nerano – Marina del Cantone.
From Molo Beverello (Naples harbour) you can reach Sorrento by ferry. The direct one takes about 30 minutes. For the timetable and the prices click here (site). From the Sorrento Harbour reach the Circumvesuviana train station (500 mt) and take the bus "SITA" (timetables) direction Nerano – Marina del Cantone.
From Naples Airport (website) you can take a tax or a bus (Alibus) to the main train station. From there we suggest you to go to Sorrento, by Circumvesuviana train (70 min) or by ferry from the Molo Beverello Harbour (30min). If you arrive after 10 PM, we suggest a private transfer. You can also take a Curreri bus (timetables) that connects the airport directly to Sorrento. Once in Sorrento, from the Circumvesuviana train station take the bus "SITA" (timetables) direction Nerano – Marina del Cantone.
